The Seymour Tower Brass was formed in 1999 by Andrew Seymour and is named after Seymour Tower which is situated two kilometers out to sea in the Royal Bay of Grouville (English Channel) and was built in 1782 as a part of Jersey's coastal defenses against French invasion. We don't think we are related to the island's namesake, Governor General Sir Henry Seymour, but it sure makes a cool name for a brass quartet. We are all members (or once were) of the Central Ohio Brass Band, 2007, 2009 and 2010 North American Brass Band Honors Champions.
We play for weddings, church services, parties, corporate events, concert series, library openings, tailgate parties or whatever you may have in mind.
