After a long weekend with Lori staying with her 1st mother in law, Bernie has passed away after the removal of the ventilator.  Arrangements are being made this morning and it looks as if we'll have to adjust our plans for vacation. 

We were to start driving to Deerfield Beach, Florida this Friday but the funderal will most likely be on Saturday.  So we may book an early flight on Sunday instead of driving.  No big deal I guess!

I feel so bad for Pat. She has lost both sons to cancer, her youngest just this past Winter, and now her husband.  Lori has been a real champion for Pat, both during the death of Tim and now Bernie.

I hope to blog every day during vacation and include pictures.
